Chatham-Kent Snow Angels

Chatham-Kent Snow Angels connects able-bodied volunteers with local residents who need assistance with snow removal due to age, injury, physical limitations, or other circumstances.

What We Clear

​Snow Angels assist with:

• Front porch and steps

• Sidewalk leading to the home

• A safe path to the resident’s vehicle

• One (1) parking space, if required

 

Volunteers are not required to shovel full driveways or decks and are not permitted to enter a resident’s home or backyard.

Volunteers Needed

Volunteers are always welcome. Hours may count toward school requirements, court-ordered community service, or general volunteer hours..

Our services are intended for residents who do not have the financial means to hire paid snow removal. All services are 100% free and provided entirely by volunteers. Due to a shortage of volunteers, and such high demand for services, if qualifications are not met by the resident, the resident will be removed from our list.
